Author Topic: The Wikipedia Game  (Read 1061 times)

Stolen from Facepunch cause it failed pretty quickly. I think I killed it by making mine too difficult.

Someone gives a start and end page on Wikipedia, and the player has to get from one to the other. BUT they can only click on links in the body of the article (or in the categories at the bottom). The player posts the progression of pages they went through, and then a new challenge.

Example:
Go from Microsoft: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft
to Brick: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brick

How I got there:
Microsoft > Windows > Windows (disambiguation) > Window > Roof > Building > Building material > Brick

Here's the one that nobody has done (as of this post).

Start: Ketchup http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ketchup
End: X-linked agammaglobulinemia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-linked_agammaglobulinemia

Don't just say "I dunno" and post you own. You must solve one before you post one.

Okay I solved my own. It's in these quotes if you want a spoiler:
"Ketchup > Sugar > Glucose > Bacteria > Immune System > Autoimmune Disease > Agammaglobulinemia/Hypogammaglobulinemia > X-linked agammaglobulinemia"

Tomatoes to a disease? forget

and they cannot go back if they don't like the choice they made.
No. This won't work.

forget, sugar. Didn't think of that. It all makes sense now

Ketchup > X-linked agammaglobulinemia

kidding, but that one is too hard for my tiny intelligence.

Somebody solve this already.

Solve what? The one you put the spoiler to?

Microsoft > Windows > Windows (disambiguation) > Window > Roof > Building > Building material > Brick

... :cookieMonster:

solved it

ketchup > vitamin c > humans > chromosome > x chromosome > x-linked recessive > x-linked agammaglobulinemia.
