Eh, I've got 60 days free of Norton but my experience with antivirus in general has been a frustrating, slow, irritating one so I think I'll just play smart and-- forget it, open firewall and DMZ activated.

What's wrong with the mac?
I used it just today and have to say it is excellent.
The interface is quite appealing and user friendly(if you have common sense)
iMovie is way better than the default window movie maker, too.

Mac computers are wonderful to work with. But hardware quality to price ratio is bad. On a budget, I've managed to buy what so far is a blazingly fast and really comfortable laptop that looks great and offers Windows 7, which is a very competitive alternative to Leopard now I've been able to have a good play around with it.

Get rid of Norton right away. It's by far the worst antivirus I've ever used.

Get avast!, a free antivirus. It's non-intrusive and has saved me two times within the past 4 years.
