lol, PC's dont get outdated? heh. if you want to keep playing all the new games you WILL have to upgrade often enough. thats the only reason consoles are around, you pay like $200 and can play any game that comes out for years. if you paid $200 for a pc you couldn't play anything. dont get me wrong, once i can afford a new pc most of my gaming will be done on it, but if youre going to make console vs. pc arguments at least don't be a dumbass.
You're saying that a PC is bad because you have to constantly upgrade it?

All consoles stay the same way in terms of hardware until the next generation comes out.  Meaning that the Xbox 360 is going to have the same ability of rendering today as it did when it first came out, same with the PS3.  My computer is easily at least 2 generations ahead of both consoles.

In easier terms: The consoles are playing new games at the same level of graphics quality while the PCs are playing new games at even higher level graphics than the PS3 or 360 can achieve (case in point, Crysis 2, but this probably isn't the only game you can see this type of pc-vs-console differences).

Thats somewhat true and false

Consoles do have the advantage of not needing to be upgraded to play latest games and never lag (Though some games do lag due to budget and/or poor engine)

PCs are always at risk of lag no matter what and starting with a good PC is always more expensive then a console.

Problem with consoles is that once its time to upgrade to a better console, you need to shell out another 300-500 bucks to buy the new console

While on the other hand if you bought a hefty PC, all you would have to do is buy either another video card (100-300 depending on quality) or more RAM (50-200 depending on quality)

Both have their advantage/disadvantage for the "Long run"

This is also another factor, much better graphics

I'm not saying it's bad that you have to upgrade it, prick. I'm saying that you DO have to keep upgrading to keep playing the latest games, while with a console you don't. I prefer PC's (Because yes, the graphics/overall experience is better), I'm not defending consoles. I'm stating the obvious. The point is that the OP was a dumbass and said PCs dont get outdated.

Also @Shocklink: You said $100-300 for a video card, or $50-200 for more ram. You can buy a new console for that much money, that's the point. A console doesn't cost $300-500, are you high? I do agree with you, though, even if you worded it a little weird. Once again, the point is that the OP was a dumbass and said PC's don't get outdated.

We all basically agree, unless you two think that PC's magically don't get outdated. If that was true we would all be using computers from the 70s still.

Once again, the point is that the OP was a dumbass and said PC's don't get outdated.
My bad, I see where you were going at now.

see, we can all be happy friends now :D

Im not high, when the 360 first came out in Florida, it was like 350 with tax and the PS3 was around 600.

Should have said im basing it off of my states price lol

And I wasnt trying to pick a fight, a friendly insight on what you said thats all brah :P

PC elitists beg to differ about the latter 3.

a console is great for multi player on the same screen and a PC is great of single-player but combine both (I.E. awesome graphics and entertainment) and its a win win.

I play Brawl on my PC with friends using 4 360 wireless controllers, its always fun and funny :D

I have a high-end PC, and a Wii. Oh, and it has MH tri, SSBB, and MKwii. I don't need anymore :D
