Is a circle a polygon? WHILE CIRCLE HAS INFINITE SIDES.

Yes. Because I can see that your mathematical evidence, and the evidence provided by other people, proves it.
No. Because I looked at all the mathematical proof and have determined that in no plausible way is a circle a polygon.

so you're not a weeaboo?  :cookieMonster:

I wasn't quoting you.  :cookieMonster:

Stocking, you're handicapped.

0.(9) will never equal 1. It comes close, it comes very close, but it will NEVER equal 1.

Now quit stuffting on this topic, idiot.

Take it up with these chaps, there emails shouldn't be hard to find.

You're all beyond handicapped, I usually never insult people directly but damn, right now I'm confused as to whether /lol, /facepalm, or /headdesk.

I'm afraid you're wrong and you should feel bad for being so wrong even though she literally gave out more 5 than URLs to websites proving that they are, in fact, equal to each other.

The way she put it to me was this:
What number exists between 0.(9) and 1?

The way she put it to me was this:
What number exists between 0.(9) and 1?
WHAT WHOLE NUMBER EXISTS BETWEEN ONE AND TWO
NOTHING THEY MUST BE EQUAL TO EACH OTHER
HAHAHAHAHAHA

I'd like you to know that although we disagree on many things (as has been shown here) I like you and you should stay for a while.. made me lol.

I didn't say "whole number", there is no number in existence between X.999... repeating and X+1. This is not the case for any other number there is. まほ~

What number exists between 0.(9) with an 8 on the end and 1. Clearly 0.(9) does.

There is nothing in between them because they touch. That's like saying my pants are part of me because there is nothing in between me and them. It's silly.

REAL NUMBER, THEN

YOU CAN'T SAY ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO BE RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER IS EXACTLY SAME AS THE OTHER ONE
OR YOU CAN SAY IT, BUT IT DOESN'T loving MATTER BECAUSE WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE SOME DAY ANYWAY

SO WHY EVEN loving TALK ABOUT IT JUST forget SOMEBODY AND SHOOT YOURSELF OR SOMETHING

0.(9) cannot have an 8 on the end because that would make it finite

Although you're right that .9 repeating is 1, saying it is because there is no number between it and 1 is why is completely wrong.

0.(9) cannot have an 8 on the end because that would make it finite
An 8 on the end of infinity is just as silly a concept as infinity.

By what fraction could you end up with a decimal value such as 0.(9)?

AND LEAVE BRITNEY STOCKING ALONE SINCE WHEN IS EVERYONE IN THIS loving COMMUNITY AGAINST UNIQUENESS
