So, is there a possibility, no matter how small, that Norton faked the virus?

I think if they did we would know about it, Norton, I'd imagine, is one of those things that people are just looking for flaws in. It would be everywhere if they started faking viruses. まほ~

Lets see. Web of trust says norton is a good website. The possibility is 0.0000001%

Windows vista never caused issues for me.
But it screwed up my sound and even when i uninstalled it using the other uninstall method theres still no sound. Had to reinstall windows on my desktop :(
The sound that's not working is not Avast's fault. Vista forgets with your sound card, I've had the same problem.

Anyway, I guess your right.

Please tell me that isn't your only form of antivirus running. ムホ~

I run it on files I'm unsure of, or if I'm having problems. I don't have constantly running virus checks because I can be very careful. The only problem is I don't have a computer exclusive to myself, and my Dad really forgeted up this one a few months back... Meh.

Never heard of it. But it sounds good.

If all else fails (if something new should come about), I suggest trying it.

I use Norton cuz AVG is garbage and my parents won't buy me a different antivirus.

hahahaha hahahaa

haha sniff oh thats funny

Who told you that you were infected
Norton?
His skin started to deteriorate and thats when he found out hes infected with zombieness

First off. Your dad should buy his own computer. Second. I'll try it if all other free options fail.

I have a permanent extended trial. :V Also, Mom mostly uses it. Dad either sneaks on or makes some excuse. He opens AOL because that's what he first used PC with back when that crap was everywhere... :panda:

I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials and I must say it's better then anything I've been using before. It's even better then the Anti-Viruses I've paid for (Panda Anti-Virus).

Norton has a really bad reputation because most people that have used it remember it from the days it basically raped your Microsoft ME's 256mb of RAM and a processor that was today's equivalent of a small Asian child with an abacus.

Today, it is vastly improved and receives almost universally positive reviews.
