Bwaha! Beat you to the Marty schwartz link Illidan.

I recommend learning horse with no name, it's pretty easy.  Martyzsongs or a youtuber with that similar name teaches that and plenty more.

I can't wait until me fingers start to grow calices or whatever it's called.
My fingers are killing me D:

Ok good sir, you have earned +10 respect points.

Learn these songs, they are great for starting and girls will love you. (lol jk)
Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin
Behind Blue Eyes - The Who
Good Riddance - Green Day

Learn scales, music theory, and classics.  Practice a lot, learn music you love, and listen to a lot of music.

The most fun you will ever have playing is when you have other musicians around you.  Me and my friend have spontaneously played so many random songs, like Stairway to Heaven, Sweet Child O' Mine, Kids, Iron Man, etc.

I can't stress this enough, lessons aren't NECESSARY, however, they can be VERY USEFUL when starting out to keep you on the right track.

Also, I hope you have big hands. ;D

Learn me.

Oh forget yes.

Also, might be a bit harder, but this would be a good song to learn:

Everlong - Foo Fighters

Take lessons
I say NAAAAAAAAAAY.

Wait a month and see if you are still interested.

Lessons helped me out a lot

Take lessons
I want to see if I could learn on my own.
After a month or two, if I haven't shown improvement then I'll probably end up taking lessons.
