Console key problem

Hi i have a console key problem....

When i try to type THIS    ------->      /////////// these little diagonals LINES

the Console panel appear !! and I CANT DO things LIKE THIS  /Wand /Duplicator whatever

It make me unable to play the game to 100%

and i am a bit MAD

i bought the game yesterday so don't complain i need help :(


I tried to change THE KEY BUTTON BUT I CANT, again when  i try to TYPE THIS-----> /

the AWESOME CONSOLE PANEL APPEAR !

You type those into chat, not console. Duplicator and such are optional and not in all servers.

Rebind your console to the ~ or ` key at the top left of your keyboard.

You can't rebind your console. I tried it many times, as the console interferes with my 0 key.

It appears that Portuguese keyboards put the / key where the ~ is on US keyboards.

No i got a Canadian keyboard(Microsoft) he is a bit old but he work well and i dont think i can find a US keyboard in Canada....

But maybe...
