Whats so great about chrome?  I didn't notice much better, I like firefox way more.

I only use Chrome (Chromium, actually) on my laptop because it allows for GPU switching, whereas I can't switch GPU's with Firefox open. I use Firefox (actually, Minefield) on my desktop PC.

Honestly, it depends. Chromium (nighty, open source versions of Chrome) appears to be as fast as Firefox on my desktop PC.

Either way, I'd still point towards "get Firefox".

Why? If it's because of the look, you can make it look like Firefox 3 pretty easily.



If it's because of add-ons, disable compatibility checking, or yell at the authors to make it compatible with Firefox 4, since they were given enough time with Minefield.

It's too transparent. Regardless, I like Chrome better than Firefox 3.
