Chrome bugs me since it only has a URL bar. :C

Firefox has lower memory usage.

Load times are about average for every web page on both browsers, both startup and webpage loading.
Firefox supports sandboxing, which will run in a seperate plugin container when needed.
Firefox has equal W3C standards support.
Firefox has equal WebGL and GPU support.
Sorry, it appears that Firefox 4 does have less memory usage.
I installed Firefox 4 after checking out some youtube videos with comparisons of the browsers and got these results:
Google Chrome 10 loads significantly faster.
Firefox 4 does not support sandboxing, except for an add-on on OSX.
Firefox 4 WebGL is very badly implemented and uses DirectX if I recall. It runs at 20fps less for me, even worse some times. Although my WebGL mysteriously stopped working for all browsers.

Standards testing using http://html5test.com/

and 9 bonus points
for Firefox

and 13 bonus points
for Google Chrome

This means nothing to me for 2 reasons

1.  Firefox 4 Beta
2.  HTML5 is probably going to be dealt with later, seeing as Firefox isn't exactly the browser of choice on an iPad.

Firefox 4 is stable now, dumas
HTML5 needs to be dealt with now. It's too goddamn lovey.

Stable, but finished?

This is a serious inquiry, what are the advantages of HTML5 over the current HTML(4?)?

HTML5 can basically be a full-fledged replacement over Adobe's proprietary Flash Player, which is something that the Internet's needed for a long time.

Is it better built, faster, more stable?  I know that in Chrome flash crashes a lot, but I've never crashed flash in FF.

YES WE DO NEED IT

It seems cool, but I'm not much for script.  Or "data values"...

Again, a welcome advance though.  Fix it fox.

There's an awesome website to show off the abilities of HTML5. Works in both Firefox and Chrome.
