Author Topic: Oh wait. Rogue antiviruses are trying to attack my computer now?  (Read 1149 times)

Yep. An HTTP exploit at a high risk level tried to attack my computer. The URL lead to a rogue antivirus. And it was trying to hit FIREFOX.exe. The source? My router. Now something weird is going on.

I'm not an expert on this kinda thing but I know pirating stuff with bittorrent applications can lead to viruses that attack your router. (I could be wrong, but that's probably right..)

Never did piracy. Truth.

Someone else in your house?
And I don't know if it's just piracy/bittorrent related, it might be just all around the place I dunno

Not necessarily piracy.

Technically, anyone at any time is at risk for any type of malware infection.
