Author Topic: Miga got his new phone, it's a Droid 2. Android app recommendations?  (Read 1364 times)

Like the home button stopped working recently.

just FYI if it's less than a year old apple will replace it/fix it for free
if its older than that you're out of luck unless you bought Apple Care

Do you have Words With Friends? If so add me, Colten95

All the better to lovet each other with Miga! *glee*

truec only lovet wiht gmaefnadna. >:C

While this topic is still around, anyone have any good app recommendations for Android?

Like I said, I'm already rooted and everything, so I don't have any restrictions on root/unrooted apps.

I also have a phone.

Didn't change it for 4 to 5 years.

I was hoping my Touch Pro would've made it more than 2 years, but I had to get it replaced once for screen issues, and when the screen started breaking again, I just said "forget it" and got this phone today.

Get the wireless tether app with a green icon if you need it.
Otherwise,  titanium backup.

Wireless Tether for Root Users? Already got it.

Also, does anybody else have issues with MP3 playback, or is it just me? OGG files play fine (which is good 'cuz most of my songs are already in OGG format).

Not sure about if it exists for Android, but if it does, easy debian can be quite useful.
And Opera Mobile is a real must-get.

Dolphin Browser, Pandora, PhotoBucket... and if you're into games you could try the Kongregate app or Angry Birds.
