Something wrong with player light

So I got on onto my server and I turn off my player light. But it grew bigger insted of turning off.

Turn up texture quality. The flare of the light is a texture. If that doesn't help, I'm stumped.

Edit: it doesn't do that on other peoples servers just mine.

I heard the ottosparks simple variable replacers had a problem like this. Did you download it, by any chance?
