Nintendo 3DS! topic ovur by guys hav fun

I already have a DSi, I'm not spending more money for some gimmicky 3D thing.

well you see
my DSi has a very ugly screen covered in pencil stains and pen stains
has multiple cracks
is colored in weird places
broken R trigger
i figured it was time for a new DS :|

Nintendo will release updates to fix such things for the console.

What about hardware problems? Then again, it's already been out for months in Japan, right? Minor fixes already applied? You're talking about software.

I'm ignoring the gimmick of 3D. I want it more for major software updates and such. A Wii-Like Messaging system appeals so much to me. Helps align gaming times and all without having to leave the system. Not to mention all the general things.

We've been talking for a while about trading my sisters DS Lite (when she finds it) for money for 3DS. Then she gets my DSi.

I assumed he meant software bugs, so yes.
As for hardware bugs, Nintendo usually will fix severe bugs for free (the Wii had some sort of bug/need for replacement that they offered for free).

Hopefully you're talking about the Wiimote wrist strap. Because I got mine like just after that was fixed.

Going to go get the 3ds. I will miss my DSi but I need to get a new console. I'll probably buy Nintendogs + cats along with it. I'm probably going to turn off the 3D of the games since I do not like eye rape. Maybe I'll buy a gameboy SP along with it. :D

2: 3D shouldn't be eye rape. Try it out a little before turning it off. Even a few moments.

Hey, I might get it but I don't know yet. I want to get one more game (I got Pilot Wings so I could really see the 3DS at work) but now I'd like a game with more depth. I'd prefer to get another 3DS game, but then again Pokemon B/W probably has more depth then the current launch titles.. If I get it, it'll be a week or two from now.

Which color should I get? Black or Blue? :o

I got blue.

Also the reason I got the 3DS is because my last DS is the old phat one. If I had the DSi I probably wouldn't have gotten it.

B/W is pretty good. The new Pokemon are ugly, but I don't really care about those ones.
