bad internet, and normal blockland uses up half the loving keyboard. you expect it to work on a tiny 3.5 inch screen, with a tiny keyboard which is half the size of a normal keyboard? Buying a bluetooth keyboard simply isn't very practical.

overall, even if it did somehow work, it would have to be cut down so much to be playable on the Ipod/Iphone's processor and RAM it wouldn't be enjoyable at all.

Tell me what you guys think, don't flame or make bad arguments.

Pffft. Who needs an education?

Get every air that's how i play Blockland at school on my iPhone.

ogm best idea i evar hear im sure badspot will make dis jus for u and the MILLION OTHERS WHO HAVE SUGGESTED THE SAME IDEA [/rage]

do what?

Possible? Please tell me how the controls would work. Blockland uses almost every loving key on a keyboard, but a phone? Phones have about 12 - 15 keys. And that capacity of the app?

Now, tell me if its possible once more.

EDIT:
If you posted this is Off-topic when it should have been in Suggestions and Requests; Did you even buy Blockland?

I put this in off topic because I'm not requesting anything so far, I'm just opening up a random, off topic discussion about a possibility for blockland, no requests.

Also, many of you talked about controls for Ipod blockland.  Couldn't it be possible for there to be different modes one could be in. I.e. build mode.  Then one can event in another mode.  I just want to do builds an stuff places, not any hardcore dogfights and TDMs, only brick controls and movement are really needed.  But you could have separate controls for each mode, as I was saying before.

And yes, I have had blockland for two years and am a master at builds and events thank you very much!

Then why wasn't this posted in the right section?

If you had read, you would have seen that I stated that this was just an off topic discussion on the possibility of a blockland app, not a specific request for one.

Tom

90% of people don't understand two things:
2. Apple's iPod line has mutlitouch. Mutlitouch easily support gestures. Gestures could like you do a lot of things
1. You need 40 keys for touchscreens, that's why they are so great. If you want the brick menu, you could just tap it and it would pop out. Movement and other stuff could be control by gestures.

Screen space might be a problem on iPod touch though, making it better suited for the iPad.

Would Blockland for iPod touch be very easy to control? Probably not. Would it still let you enjoy the basic features Blockland anywhere? Yes.

On a somewhat separate note - now I realize why America sucks so much now. Our youth just says "it won't work" instead of trying to come up with creative ways to make it work.

Ipod =/= Iphone
nurrr

oh yeah his mistake. not 15.
0 buttons then.

dumbass, you just made his point for him. and its even more valid then before.

if you just ported the controls directly like a dumbass then yeah it wouldn't work at all. if you gave it intuitive controls (wave the phone left/right to look around if the phone has an accelerometer, tap the top of the screen for a brick menu overlay, whatever) it'd work fine if the phone could actually handle the game. some pointless things would need to be removed (emotes, crouching, etc) to save on screen buttons from being cluttered

it'd still be pretty awkward to use, though.
