tiny tiny keyboard on a tiny tiny screen. though i can legitimately see this for  an ipad considering it's computerlike capabilities and it's screen large enough for a compact keyboard, albeit the screen would be small and you would have to incorporate the mouse into a system of tilting the screen and tapping.

The iPod Touch is not designed for handheld gaming. The iPhone and iPad do that.
And neither support Torque.

That's the only thing most of my friends do on their iPod touch's. The only other things you can do is play music and go on the internet.

android phone w/ keyboard

problem solved

<Plug keyboard into ipod
<enjoy
but then you'd have to carry around a keyboard  :panda:

What we could do is to have the forum in a specific design so smartphones can display it in a nice way.

EDIT:
About the actual game... it's just... Naaaah. I think of iPhone/iPod games should be fun and have a simple objective. Look at Angry birds, Cut the rope and fruit ninja: Simple, fun, addictive and small. By small I mean that they have a low amount of possibilities: just the inverse of sandbox/construction games. (did you know there was a building game for iPhone based on blockland and minecraft?)

It might be able to on the iPad, but im just not sure about that.

ITS. NOT. POSSIBLE.

Actually,
it is.

Torque is on iPhone, just that Badspot isn't spending another 1k on the iPhone torque.

And even if it gets ported, it'll be watered down.

90% of people don't understand two things:
2. Apple's iPod line has mutlitouch. Mutlitouch easily support gestures. Gestures could like you do a lot of things
1. You need 40 keys for touchscreens, that's why they are so great. If you want the brick menu, you could just tap it and it would pop out. Movement and other stuff could be control by gestures.

Screen space might be a problem on iPod touch though, making it better suited for the iPad.

Would Blockland for iPod touch be very easy to control? Probably not. Would it still let you enjoy the basic features Blockland anywhere? Yes.

On a somewhat separate note - now I realize why America sucks so much now. Our youth just says "it won't work" instead of trying to come up with creative ways to make it work.

Thank you for putting it into a more simplistic way so that dumbasses may understand what I mean.

And the graphics don't have to be exactly that of computer blockland, it could be something similar to the way sim city games are structured, with a view of 45 degrees

Tablet PC if you really want something touchscreen and portable.

@Laptop argument.

Also, it's an okay idea, Torque exists for the iOS, just Badspot would have to pay for another engine, and an Apple Dev Licence.

Cydia brother.

iPod Touch has no buttons.

Blockland won't work on iPod Touch or iPhone because of that reason (it would, but the controls would be too awful to be fun or playable).
