not any better then the acer could.

you are missing the whole reason why here.
these laptops are cheap because they do not have video cards. you would need a dedicated video chip in order to play games well.
yeah you can prob run some games on these barely, but not well at all.
these comps are not for gaming. you will be lagging and making heat.

Yeah, but I'm looking to play Mafia 2. Maybe on lowest settings.

Could this run it?

Nah, see its got an Intel GMA card and those are just awful.
I've been doing some looking, I genuinely don't think you can get a computer that can run Mafia 2 in your price range. You might want to save and buy something good, better to do it once and do it right.

the only best buy laptops i would ever recommend for games, would be the more spendy Vaio's and Asus's.
or i guess those alienware ones, but alienware is horsestuff and should be avoided.

Mafia 2 is very demanding so you would need a quad core so that it isn't very laggy. Most computers dont have those.
My computer has a duel core, and thats really not to bad even for games like L4D2

someone mail me this laptop

Screw Mafia 2, I can do without it.
Thank you for the help, everyone.

That computer looks great EXCEPT for the graphics. :I

I honestly don't know stuff about specs or anything related to how a computer runs; what's wrong with it exactly?

Just avoid any graphics that are branded with Intel.

Why ? lol

Why ? lol

They are really bad for gaming. Intel's graphics cards are designed just to do day to day tasks, they aren't made for gaming. I had to put up with a GMA X1300 for three years. The HD range still isn't good either.
