They are really bad for gaming. Intel's graphics cards are designed just to do day to day tasks, they aren't made for gaming. I had to put up with a GMA X1300 for three years. The HD range still isn't good either.
Actually the next generation of Intel HDs, the very brand new ones, are going to be pretty good.  Not anything like 8800GT good but somewhere around decent for low settings maybe.

Just no.

If you buy a laptop for gaming, you go for Nvidia or ATI. Intel making awesome CPUs, just not GPUs. Don't kid yourself.

Bestbuy and Newegg have a crap range I feel.

Sorry for asking this question in your topic - I didn't want to spam off topic with a new one!

Is this laptop any good? It has a quad-core Intel i7 processor which is much better than my 1.7GHz single core that I'm running on right now.. a tad pricy though. Not sure if I'll be able to buy this thing any time soon - and is it even worth the money?

M11X, I have one, it's great. It can run Fallout 3 on med-high settings at a good framerate, with no visible stuttering.

You guys are lucky you have higher budgets :panda:
