Author Topic: Hated for playing Minecraft, Blockland and TF2  (Read 6780 times)

I'm oddly one of the only few who play Halo at school.
A bunch of people got Halo:Reach on launch day and around then, but then gave it up because they either, didn't like the weapons, or didn't like the fact that you can't just wait for people to come around a corner, while you crouch in a bush.

And pathetically, or as I find it pathetically, most of the "Cod-Squad", have not even played the campaign.
They just play multiplayer immediately, which I find pointless.
Multiplayer always comes after single player.
There's a story to be had first of all.

This happens all the time.  I get loving insulted nearly every second I play this.
Oh yes, no website blocks.  :cookieMonster:

Tell them that CoD sucks balls
(True stuff Bro)

I'd be considered a hardcore gamer and a hardcore listener to dubstep in my school. Don't particularly care though, most of my friends are in the older years, and if someone tries to fight me, they end up hurting themselves. All the 'nerds' as they would call my friends and I, are literally 2 or 3 times stronger then most of the people who lack the socialization skills to leave us alone.

people who lack the socialization skills to leave us alone.
That sounds almost oxymoronic.
People who can socialise don't go near you?
Wouldn't that just make you complete rejects?

These CoD players don't know how to recognize a good game. For them it's just: "you get to kill people online with an AK74? I approve." Think that you're superior because you have a more diverse... gaming culture? They only know how to shoot and kill. You know that AND much more. You have creativity. They don't. We build, they destroy. It's that simple. That's why I like halo: these are different because they have forge.

Whoever doesn't play sandbox games don't understand us.

Minecraft is so different, its hard to explain.

I was at my house playing when my friend came over, and I hooked my laptop up to my tv so we could watch.  I quickly showed him a little of how the game works, the whole time him saying it looks dumb.  After he himself played it, he loved it.

I have like 1400 people at my school, so I know about 15 people who play Minecraft, and maybe 5 who play TF2/Portal.

punch him in the face.

After he himself played it, he loved it.

That happened to my friend too :D
You can't say it sucks before trying it yourself.

And then a better CoD comes out and then they shun Black Ops. Halo: Reach is now ten million years into the past and actually good games are either unknown or shunned.

In some sandbox games you can destroy stuff, so we get the destruction and more.

Go try to find a bunch of reasons Black Ops is stuff and kick their asses.

It's probably not that hard.
