I'm just wondering, since I don't seem to see mine, nor anyone else's under their posts. Is there some kind of setting I need to change?

No. Badspot disabled them years ago because people would abuse them for terrible things. If you check Badspot's sign nature, he notes how he couldn't remove them from profile pages and, at the time, it frustrated him.

Honestly, they can be bad. I don't clearly remember the abuses, it's been too long, but I do remember that you could put rotating images in there and those could be terrible...

Plus people put huge pictures in their sigs making posts much longer than they need to be.

Although Badspot could just be mad about it. The fact is that it's like an unlimited avatar. You could be a postwhore, get angry, and suddenly all your pictures is an extremely high resolution of a monkey eating its own poop. And judging from how often tensions flare around here, no one would last long with it on where everywhere they posted is suddenly disgusting and untrustworthy.
