Author Topic: Getting a new something for my computer but I'm an ignorant starfish!  (Read 2197 times)

If you're upgrading to a high end GPU you'll need to upgrade that CPU to maybe a Core 2 Quad, which are cheap nowadays.

I'm getting a whole new computer, and I have all of the build done, but Righteous suggested I get a better Graphics card but I don't really know how to tell one from another but basics, so yeah.

EDIT: Is this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121432 good for it's price and stuff and is it worth paying that much more than for http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102913   ?

You didn't read the topic, did you?
Also, a suggestion for your video card:

I've noticed that you run at a low resolution, to take max advantage of your GPU you would have to upgrade to a bigger monitor, one that supports about 1920x1080 resolution.

I would help you further, as I can see that nobody else is, but as Righteous One pointed out, I'm not that knowledgeable in the building area.

I most defiantly live in america and Psu is where the graphics card plug thing goes into right?
lol.

I'm getting a feeling this kid is going to try and install this on carpet with socks on.
