(would take 3 computers gaming all evening at once to burn that)
(or like 100 computers googling and blogging 24 hours lol)

EVEN if he was lucky, and a game or website allowed him to use any speed he wanted as a downloader to sap all users on the site (no site ever does), he would max download at 3,000kb per second

115k per second allowance if he ran downloading 24 hours a day all month.
granted its low if you want 1 file. but overall if you can hold this steady usage all the time, its a ton of data.


spammers and torrent hosts would cap the limit if they were stuck with 115k a second. thus why the limit exists. to stop THEM

1 048 576 bit = 128 kilobytes

Of course it's hard to do anything is right because hard driver makers keep changing the meanings of byte measurements.

well yeah that does kinda suck. i mean if a site even allowed you to download with your entire 3000k a second. or your provider allowed you to use it all at once while connecting to any single host.
but they dont.

higher speeds is better used on multitasking the web.

what I was referring to was the 123mb of today which is beyond the limit and I haven't even done any serious youtube or game playing today
well guess I should enjoy it while it lasts

games dont use much bandwidth at all. unless you host some dedi that is active with a dozen or more people 24/7, all month.
of which you shouldn't be a cheap ass and use some stuffty 2001 standard 2mbit connection anyways. its 2011 now. gamers should have at least 8mbit connections, or fail.
dont complain about being treated like some poor dial up user, when your paying for crap.

Me remember when me had metered bandwidth, me tried to play Roblox, it can take up to a gigabyte per hour. Blockland, as me found out, is a lot better, even if it still uses its fair share of bandwidth. But thank god me don't have metered bandwidth anymore.

the limit is 120 GIGABYTES, not megabytes.  That is a difference by a factor of 1000

which means you used 1/1000 of your monthly quota

Yes, but if you use the same amount each day as bisjac stated you can only use 83mb a day average

250 gigs = 256,000 megs
256,00/30 = 8,533 mb a day. so 8.5gb a day, not 83mb.
proof: 8.5*30=255, a little off the 250gb because of differences in defining just how many kb is a mb, mb is a gb, etc
