Author Topic: Selecting a whole model in blender  (Read 490 times)

So i was wondering how do you select a whole model in blender. Because when i click the model it only highlights one part not the whole thing so i cant re-size the whole thing.

"An interesting thing to note about the selection mode buttons is that you can shift-click them to enable more than one mode at once. In fact, you can have all three active at the same time which can make modeling very speedy, but can sometimes make it a bit fiddly to select exactly what you want if you don’t place your clicks carefully."

Or you could just press "A" in object mode, then scale it. Works for me.

... Or are you talking about a single model in an area of multiple models, thats another story.

Resizing a mesh in object mode (Does not matter if more or one) forgets up the lightning in Blockland. (However it can be fixed by a tutorial, search it).

Right click selects an object. With shift+right click you can select multiple objects. "A" selects everything in the layer including lamps and cameras. "A" also deselects everything.

Holding Ctrl and selectin everything will work.

Holding Shift and selectin everything will work.
Fixed.
