If you've ever had the chance to spill water on a table, you'll see it doesn't just form perfect dots. Also, to be realistic, all the letters should be connected somehow, to emulate real water.

what's so bad about mercury.

Well, my process was first using Comic Sans MS for "Liquid" at 140 size. Then I applied a silver style to it. After that, I used one of my special filters to make it drippy. Made a layer under it, and used the water drops filter. Then I erased the crap around it and made the drops drippy. Then I cleared the drips under the text and... had a little trouble saving this crap.
