Author Topic: Poison (Graphic Design Thing)  (Read 637 times)

A while ago we had a project, basically we had to make some Photoshop stuff for Graphic Design with the theme of "March Is..." Our group chose "March Is Poison Prevention Month". There were some other deliverables as well but I think this was my least crappiest one.

This was one of my designs. I'm only showing it now because I just got Photoshop CS5 and I will be working on better looking creations to hopefully achieve Kyzor's status one day. :3

This was literally when I had no Photoshop experience. I'm a lot better now so please be gentle. Reason we were pushed into this big assignment with barely any experience in Photoshop was because of a system our school uses which is PBL. Project Based Learning. Once again I've gotten a lot better since that project and I'll start slapping some stuff together soon to show off what I'm capable of.

The bottle was drawn in Adobe Illustrator and ported over to Photoshop.

Looks a lot better then anoything I could make on my first try.

The fingernails seem a bit unnatural, but it's better than I could do.

Because I totally had previous experience with Photoshop and this totally wasn't my first time using it.

Also I'd like to see your work please. >:V

Ehhh.
I like the shading of the bottle and the poison 'splat' is cool (although it needs more depth), but that's just about it.
The text is awkwardly placed, and it doesn't really make that much sense, and the hand is not well-drawn at all. And the vignette is a bit too sharp.
