Rapid Fire problem

When I hold the button I chose to bind Rapid Fire to while I use the hammer or wrench, it hits things randomly instead of rapidly.. most of the time it's slower. Why is this?

If it's on a server with a bad connection, the animation on the weapon may delay causing it to seem that it is going slower.

Ive never seen this prob. But alex is right when on a server w/ bad connection. But I cant say why it goes slow on your own. tell me what happens when you do rapid fire with the printer
