Do you plan to upgrade it to Win7?

most likely, if I can, that is.

If you have a little over $100 lying around, you could get Home Premium.

My dad has a copy of Win7 from work, so I shouldn't need to buy anything.

Pity about the graphics card. Capable of DirectX 10 but meh not great.

Is it better than my current? I know nothing about computers lol

I think its about the same, possibly slightly better but not significantly. In todays standards both are really low end. Not even an entry level gaming card.

I can play Crysis on medium with 30 fps currently. :O That's pretty good, right?

30fps isn't great, but pretty surprising. According to reviews and information I found on the ATI Radeon HD 4550, you might get away with running it on low detail, so having it on medium at 30fps is amazing considering what card you have. But still crap.

so would the laptop be able to run it on low?
