required to read "Efrain's Secret" which is horrible. it's all about drugs and stuff and this kid who wants to go to an ivy school but has no money and has a girlfriend who wants to go to school in the south and so he works for money through drugs and he's an honor student in the daytime..
other than that i was reading a series about this place, forget the name of it, been caught up in school books (above + "A Long Way Gone")
