Terrain textures look like ass

Any specific reason why my terrain textures look like ass?

Check your settings.
Make sure texture quality isn't on a low option.

I have everything maxed in-game. This isn't an isolated case either.

Digital Designer back in 2009 when I ported the map and took the screenshot for the preview image.


Edit: But then something like The Slopes, the textures look fine.


Perhaps it is a problem with my maps after all. All of the screenies posted, except Slopes, are from my maps. Odd. =/

Something may have happened to the added textures that comes with the maps.
Slopes textures are default.

Have you tried re-downloading those maps?

I made those maps. Yes, I have redownloaded them and because nobody else appears to be complaining how all my map textures look like crap, it is a problem with my hardware/software/ponies.

Okay. Now my textures broke altogether. When I paint them to the ground it's just the default dirt. Textures from other maps work.

Edit: Oh man it's been a while since I last did maps. The terrain textures must be 256x256 .jpg files.
