Lately I have been a post rock cigarette. Some of my favorite bands right now Include a Silver Mt. Zion, Sigur Ros and Mogwai. I do enjoy. I am also really into Post rock/emo crossover. Bands like Moving Mountains and the Appleseed Cast.

I also like regular emo music. Not stuffty My Chemical Romance, Boys like Girls bullstuff. REAL emo music. Things like Sunny Day Real Estate, Mineral etc etc.

Now I'm all linked out.

The genre that really got me into GOOD music was progressive rock and metal. Bands like Porcupine Tree and Dream Theater and the Mars Volta were all I listened to for a while. My music taste has greatly expanded. Now I love things like Trip-Hop (Massive Attack, Portishead, UNKLE) GOOD alt metal (A Perfect Circle, Deftones) GOOD alt Rock (Brand New, Death Cab for Cutie, The Smashing Pumpkins' earlier stuff) and indie rock (This Town Needs Guns, Of Montreal, Modest Mouse). I also love Industrial/EBM things. Some of my favorites are Nine Inch Nails (a given), VNV Nation, KMFDM, Skinny Puppy etc etc. None of that Aggrotech stuff though.

And that just scratches the surface of my musical tastes.
