Author Topic: I got a new R/C helicopter. How do I use it?  (Read 1930 times)

It's this thing:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/3-Channel-Metal-Micro-RC-Remote-Control-Helicopter-Gift-/380308451339?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item588c26700b#ht_3502wt_989

When I try to fly it, it just spins in circles. Sometimes, I pull the throttle and it doesnt fly, so I let go. Suddenly, the bastard flies straight up to the roof and just falls, probably damaging it
I've had it for less than the day and the instructions do stuff. Mainly because it's as helpful as toilet paper, and it was translated in Google Translate so I dont know what the forget it is saying.
I just need someone with basic R/C helicopter knowledge to tell me WHAT THE forget DO I DO?!

Everyone knows miniature toy helicopters are stuff. They purposefully are easily broken so you buy like 50. I saw this guy in NYC showing off a metal one, saying it's more durable. Just sounds like a more dangerous version.

i had one and it was relatively easy to fly.
not exactly precise, but still pretty accurate.
i need to see your remote

i buy the 200 dollar electric ones. i prob buy a new one yearly.

but most of the better ones yo ucan take the remote and plug it into a computer. there are simulator apps to fly with your own remote so to learn better.

The set double propellers airplane of the helicopter series is coaxial and reversing structure effectively offers stable flight and easy operation

Oh gosh lol

Not sure if this will help but take a look

Be gentle with the controls. Don't put any of the sticks to full, slowly push upwards until it's starting to take off and then ease off the altitude control so it's hovering. Now do the same with the yaw control to stop it from spinning.

That's how I treated mine and it worked okay until Tingalz crashed it and the tail snapped.

I was tempted to write "lying friends" as feedback

Tried that, it only properly flies on nearly full throttle. The friend just spins

raise the left stick VERY VERY gently
the right stick controls its direction obviously

also, EXTREMELY GENTLY

Maybe your controller is broken if it only flies on full speed.

I had one. It was broken right in the BOX. We couldn't get a refund or a replacement.

I wish i had the flight sticks like in the wonderworks flight simulator kiosks. I have the game but not the flight sticks.

It slightly hovers on low throttle. No hover function that I can find

Do the propellers spin in the same direction?
