I heard if you do it itches like hell. Personally I don't care. But my legs are really really loving hairy (like seriously, you wouldn't believe it, I'm like a little ape) which has destroyed my ability to want to wear anything but trousers. :I

Yes I do because it is comfortable and, countering everyones beliefs, even less itchy if you do it right.

Use a stuff ton of cream and take your time and don't go over the same area more than like, two times. Use some kind of aftershave and that night free-ball for a razor burn free shave.
