Alright I've got to rant for a second.
I am tired of this tribal, inbred, republican stuffhole known as Alabama. Everyone here has so many biased opinions that it isn't even funny.
For example, a few friends and I we're discussing where we'd never live. I said that I would live in the North but it is too cold.
My friend's little brother: "I hate the North"
Me: "why?"
Little brother: "Because they made us lose the Civil War"
Me: "How is that a bad thing?"
Little brother: "'Cause it is."
Me: "..."
These kids are brainwashed by parents, teachers, and friends. And yes, teachers like to share their many political opinions with us children.
Another example:
Friend: "Obama is a stupid Muslim"
Me: "How do you know?"
Friend: "The teacher says it, my parents says it, and the news says it"
Me: "Sigh"
It's just annoying to live in a state where it seems everyone is against you.
My friend also claims that there is no racism in Alabama.
