Author Topic: Whats slowing down my comp? (Read 701 times)

Hey guys, I've been recording blockland vids on this really good PC that I have however, as of lately I was recording a game of blockland and it just started lagging to an unplayable amount while recording with fraps. This never happened before and just happened all of a sudden out of random. Could it be that fraps has problems like this? could it be that recording over 200 gigs of blockland footage slows down your computer? Please let me in on your advice as to how to solve this issue. For this is an issue not even "gamebooster" can fix. Thanks

... Where is this storing?

I always lag when I record with frames... At least, with LoZ: MM emulator. I incorporated the lag into a Youtube video I made.

gigabyes yes. Its on my computers hard drive

Why do you need 200 gig of video? Make sure you have enough memory to record the files you need.

Easy, just set your FPS to 29.97 and if possible, don't record the sound. But if you must, record sound.

Set fraps custom frame rate to 180, and to record only half screen.

I get like 30fps at best or something. Holy stuff, 6x framerate.
