Am not an ALT button :C

Then explain why I've experienced one complete lockup, two BSoD's, and Explorer crashes when going to the Control Panel on 7, and on Vista, I've never gotten even one BSoD, or crashing when going to the Control Panel.

Oh wow, one exception obviously proves Vista is reliable! Lets just ignore thousands of day to day users and ICT professionals who dislike Vista and have very good reason to! Because Windows 7 just came out of nowhere so fast for no reason, right?

Delusional.

They disliked Vista because they think that XP is better, because they're more used to it. They were working on an OS that was nearly 5-6 years old, and didn't want change. Most of them hated it over User Account Control, because it would "get in the way of things", even though you could easily disable it, but apparantly people were too thick-headed at the time to realize you could.

I mean, look at today still. Windows 7 is out, and yet most professionals aren't using it. They're still using XP, an OS that's 10 years old now.

I've been using Vista almost ever since it came out (sans the year or so I used Windows 7 beta), and rely on it. I can't rely on Windows 7 on a laptop I paid well over $1000 for, though.

I'm sorry what you say, but I will never believe Windows 7 is more stable than Windows Vista. There's no performance gain or loss on both OSes (yes I've checked on the same machine), but Vista has been ultimately better for me.

Okay then, so we have professionals who stick to XP. They widely and strongly backlashed against Vista, but not 7. Does that not say anything to you?

You are beginning to make a really moot point. Saying Vista is a great OS is just like joining the small crowd that claims Internet Explorer is amazing. You are convincing nobody.

I beg to differ.

BOMB THE VISTAS, BOYS! WE GOTTA BLOW EM' ALL!

OP is gay for male koalas.
He told me on Steam.

I beg to differ.
You deny the fact that they've had good experiences with vista and not windows 7?

If someone's had good experiences with x, they'll say x is good/great/amazing/etc.  You can't blame someone for liking vista if it's worked for them.

No, they're even refusing to upgrade to Windows 7. They're stuck on XP.

I beg to differ.

How would you beg to differ? You most definitely don't use both OSes every day as I do, so you're unable to see all the unfixed problems in Windows 7 that have never once happened to me in Vista.

Exactly.

They should downgrade to WINDOWS 2000! They would likey!

Oh I see, my opinion is irrelevant because I don't casually run Vista and 7 side by side each day.  :cookieMonster:

Exactly.

You don't seem to understand the definition of the idiom; its disagreement. I for one have had a far better experience. What do I care if you want to be stuck using that anyway, your choice.

Enjoy Vista. At least somebody is.
