And again, this is where I say "my copy of Vista has gone 1000 hours without being shut down and Windows 7 on my laptop can't last that long at all".

Vista's a good OS.

Then explain why I've experienced one complete lockup, two BSoD's, and Explorer crashes when going to the Control Panel on 7, and on Vista, I've never gotten even one BSoD, or crashing when going to the Control Panel.

If anything, I can easily state this: Vista is much more stable than 7 by a long shot. If your copy of 7 can go 1000+ hours without being shut down, restarted, put to sleep or to hibernate mode, go ahead and prove me wrong.

Get out.

Can't prove me wrong, exactly.
orly?  :panda: I GOT SOMETHING TO SAY! Get out.Vista is laggy stuff.

I liked Vista.
I like Win 7.

:)

Agreed.  The only computer I've ever had with 7 on it crashed and burned when I installed steam.  My vista computer's been holding at least 500 different programs for about two years.  It's been able to stay on for months on end with very few problems. (Sometimes the sound cuts out, resolution gets stuck, only if it's been on for a very long time.)

And yes, the windows 7 computer only died because the hardware was ass.
