Author Topic: I've caught the dubstep virus  (Read 1113 times)

Yes, unfortunately, I have caught the dubstep virus. Right now I'm really digging Set Me on Fire by Pendulum and Herpes by Tomba. DarkDubstep has some great stuff on his YT channel, but I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions for me. I like the darker, heavy (apparently, according to dubsteppers, "dirtier") stuff, none of that happy sounding stuff. (I especially hate it when people ruining it by singing)

This is the sound I'm looking for:

Thanks Feep.

Skrillex was pretty good, except that stupid little voice made it hard to take the song seriously.
The rest weren't dubstep and the singing was so annoying.

EDIT: I hate La Roux, I can't stand singing in this type of music, let alone a loving woman. Women's voices just tear my ears to shreds.

yes well i like joyful dubstep so i'll see what i can find for you.

and yes i hate that voice skrillex put in there.

Eh, it was ok, but still not quite what I'm looking for.

I'm editing the post with an example of a song that I like.

I too enjoy a bit of Dubstep. Favorite artists are probably Gemini and Mt Eden and for Drum n Bass Pendulum all the way, although sub focus and other artists are awesome.

I don't think I am capable of listening to anything (there being only a couple exceptions) besides heavy/death metal. Sowwy.

Then why post here?

Love this song.

I just recently got into dubstep. I listen to any type of music, really - I heavily appreciate eclecticism. The one exception is most metal music, and most country/bluegrass.

GLaDoS dubstep forget yes. Although the drop sucks.

Our Hearts Collide

May not be dubstep, but at least a happy electronic song

I really like the Mr.Postman one

This should be the ticket.

If this was supposed to be a joke... I actually kind of liked it.

Love this song. - Bitch singing = forget no

GLaDoS dubstep forget yes. Although the drop sucks. - I've never liked Portal, and the lack of a drop made me sad face

but at least a happy electronic song
