They're both 512x512. How does one achieve higher resolution...?!

... do you even understand what a vectored image is?

I'm not fussed about what technical procedure occurred during its creation, I care about how it looks in-game.

To be fair, the default ones (and thus Squideey's old ones) were slightly fuzzy in comparison to Manty's.

Just tried these out, makes exploring ACM city on bedroom dark creepy as hell.

These are so much better than Squideey's. I like the original look. Totally going to use 'em.

i use squideeys old ones

but i'm going to test these out and i think ill like em better

good job :)

Those hours of work sure paid off.
Thanks.  I know you're being sarcastic but they actually did pay off.  My textures are sharper than Squideey's old ones, seeing that they were vectored, as I have said earlier.  The difference may seem slight but these are basically a revamped and upgraded version of Squideey's first textures (the biggest update being that these, once agian, do not forget up your avatar).

I did make new ones in photoshop. I had to super-impose the default ones underneath to get the right proportions. How do you spend ages vectoring a few polygons?
It was mainly comprised of being 100% precise and accurate with the points and accurately detecting transparencies of the default textures in Photoshop.  brickBOTTOMLOOP and brickBOTTOMEDGE took the longest, no doubt.  Not to brag or anything, but I'm pretty damn good in Photoshop and even this took me a couple of hours.  I guess the big difference here is I didn't want to release a half assed pack of textures.

It's almost same as Squideey's old texture.

Manty, put the comparison images in a table. I'm telling you this because it confused me for a second. I thought you had a duplicate image, then I realized it was broken comparison. The images are wrapping around, so it looks like this to me:

Quote

1. Default                                               2. Squideey's                                         3. Manty's

Without the spaces between them, of course. Try this (Quoting this will work to show it):

Quote

1. Default

2. Squideey's

3. Manty's

Done.  Thanks Mega.

One way Badspot could fix this is to make the brick edges render in 3D instead of using textures. But oh, the resource usage...

Would be a neat clientside feature though.

Excellent job!

Have my brick-babies.

It's almost same as Squideey's old texture.

But its not. Can't you see the difference lol.
