From what I see I'm pretty sure the creator of the site is pissed off at how much money and advertisers knowyourmeme is making since it's family-friendly, which is probably why he's making ED family-friendly.

It wasn't even satire. It was just bashing of whatever the article was about. And research of the subject matter, where applicable. In some cases, even when not.

ED existed specifically as a satirical wiki, meant to be offensive.

Something tells me you don't exactly know what satire is.

Anyway I'm not too hung up on it, I just find it disappointing. ED was an interesting read to say the least, but this knew site is extremely bland and uninteresting.
