Author Topic: North Australia's cyclone  (Read 482 times)

bear with me, I'm typing this on my phone and will modify it a lot.

So yesterday my family and I left our home in the Sunshine Coast, and we headed to Cairnes? to go scuba diving and see our cousins. We slept at a hotel last night and after 7 hours today we hit the first town that was hit by the cyclone. Roofs gone, houses on their sides, there where no loving mailboxes. Me and my sister went out on the beach nearby and there where trees 100 feet out in the water. There was so much water gone and so I decided to try walk out to the farthest log. BIG MISTAKE. I fell in quick sand up to my waist, if not higher. After grabbing a nearby trunk I pulled myself out with my sisters help. We are now heading to a bigger town and ill upload pictures when I take a shower and arrive at my cousins house.
