Author Topic: New lego pirates = meh.  (Read 2564 times)

If any one of us took control of the LEGO corp.  stuff would drastically change and the prices would drop dramatically.

No, if a forumer were to take control of lego, prices would rise and it would start making lego carrots and three dimensional lego research.

I know. But lets say in the future someone from this topic becomes head of the LEGO corps. stuff would change.
Not if they didn't want it to.

Not if they didn't want it to.

I'm assuming it is a person in this thread who agrees that LEGO is too watered down.

hint: no one in this thread will ever be a success at anything.
except maybe dren he's bill gates's secret lovechild.

I think Lord Tony forgets that Lego's fanbase consists mostly of kids.

This includes you, aparently.

Aw yeah.

It would be awesome if you could like get legoes from different sets and put them together to build something totally new.

I miss the old star wars LEGO sets. D= I hate the new ones, just cuz the characters are ugly. I loved the City set. Never cared for the pirate. Rock raiders crapped out when it went to Power Miners. and Castle was awesome :3 its ok but its know as Kingdoms

I usually prefer older ones mainly because the pieces of the legos. The new sets seem to have mainly custom pieces that basically only will work for that set, holding back your creativity if you feel like going your own way on the lego set. Also they are getting too simple, it's like they designed all of these with a mentally challenged diabetic 8 year-old in mind 24/7.

Diabetic? You obviously don't know about Diabetes. Unless building LEGOs is strenuous activity that causes exaustion and massive amounts of sweat in a high-intensity situation, it won't do stuff if you are Diabetic.

The reason LEGo is becoming so expensive is because they keep making stuff based off of movies and TV shows. loving ridiculous. If any one of us took control of the LEGO corp.  stuff would drastically change and the prices would drop dramatically. But I do agree, the older sets looked a lot more manly while the newer sets look very childish.

Actually this could all be the exact opposite. Maybe they are adding so many stuffty movie/tv lego sets so people get sick of it. Then they release "lego classic" sets which is sets from 1980-1990 and they jack up the prices higher and say it's for a limited time only.

Well stuff, I'd buy LEGO from 1980's to 1990's only because its not as child driven. In this instance, I'll pay more for the more rugid looking fgures that were all yellow than pay more than regular sets for a more kid driven, cartoon looking LEGO set.

forget, they need more old lego, like re-releases, just for the sake of the people who remember.

Not to mention 80-90 lego offered more creativity during those years. One of the reasons why I am still creative with blockland and I don't try to add stuff like MW2 or halo or whatever into it.
