oh god I so want to strangle the forgeter

When we watched October Sky during exam week in science (Where all this happens, my science class has a built in computer lab) he was talking behind me about how much faster the movie would run on a mac. (I blame the school's stuffty bandwidth)

I turned around and gave him the evil eye

I should install Ubuntu.

Tell him with a Macintosh you can photoshop your imagination, but with PC, plenty of windows of opportunity suddenly appear, making your life fun.

I'm a mac. The generalization that we do not know as much about computers applies to some people. However, there are just as many computer illiterates that use Windows as well. I know a decent amount with computers, I have to. I work with the tech department at my school as the Mac department but I have to troubleshoot Windows all the time. I don't know the most, but I certainly know more than that kid mentioned in the OP. And I'm certainly more professional.

That's a terrible thing to say. No seriously, that's ridiculously cheezy. He would probably slap you.

I'm a mac.
Anyone who declares themself a "mac" instantly loses all respect from me.

It's one thing to own a Macintosh.
It's another thing to be a Macintosh fanboy.
It's a whole 'nother ballpark to cite their advertising gimmicks in normal conversation.

I wasn't trying to be poetic lol

Pc stands for personal computer, which (like a Windows) Macintosh is.  So to all the people that call a Windows OS computer a PC and Macintosh a Macintosh: both are PCs

That'd sound funny on the commercials, though.
"Hello, i'm a personal computer." "And i'm a personal computer."
hurr

All the Xbox users at my school are starting to find out about Fortress Craft.

I was sitting at lunch with the other schitz and one of them started to say how Minecraft was such a ripoff. He hasn't even kept up with any of the updates or even played the game. Much less know that it came out first.

BRILLIANT

Ask him what each abbreviation for every computer part means.

IE:
CPU
GPU
RAM
etc.

if he answers ALL correct, then he knows minimal stuff.

If Mac's are perfect, why is there a website called MacFixIt?

I swear you got that off of Maddox's rant on Macs.

Yep.

I just used it here because it's true.  And every Maccigarette should have it rubbed in their nose.
