Author Topic: How to Drama Properly  (Read 2101 times)

Looking around the Drama board, it seems the newcigarettes don't know how to make a proper drama.  So I made a guide to tell them how to do it right.

1.Title
It's pretty hard to mess this up, but when you do, you've made a huge mistake.  Make the drama title either an offending quote with the offender's name, the offender's name itself, or even what they did.  Mix and match these until you get a good title.
Bad titles;
friend
noob in server
ban this guy
p3nis lol
NOOB

Good Title;
codmasterdude 11 - IM THE ADMIN
1337nosK0pr - WHOOPS DID I BAN YOU?
Baldspot - Not who you think.

In conclusion, make the title proper, and not the result of spilling grape juice on your keyboard.

2.Evidence.
- You must post evidence.  Whether it is pictures or chat logs, post them.  Otherwise you'll be rejected and called an attention whore.

- Trim your photos, it's annoying to have a huge gap in between every line.

- Obvious photoshops are not evidence.

- DON'T ATTACH THE PHOTOS, THEY'LL LOOK UGLY AND UNPROFESSIONAL.
3.Offender's information
Be sure to post their BLID, name, and other things to be used to identify them.  That's really all there is to this section.

4.DON'T Drama this;
The Forums itself - It's not going to change, just leave.
Badspot - He'll kick your dog.
Brickybob - He's a cool guy.

5.Defending your posts.
- Keep cool, and stay low.  Bursting into a hissy-fit rage will only make you look like an idiot.
- If possible, post more pictures and evidence.  It couldn't hurt.

6.Final Note
- Only Drama when there's actual drama.  Otherwise you're just attention whoring, and will be called one.

- There is no lock in Drama.  Remember that before posting.

- Don't bump Dramas.  When they happen, they do.  We don't need a 3 year Drama.

I like this. But I highly doubt even the older members will trim their photos.

Wasted topic. The real beauty of drama is that it's such a stufffight that a set of guidelines won't work.

a good title is a name and possibly an id. nothing else is necessary, it's been shown.

I don't even have to flame someone who takes that seriously.  Them taking a joke seriously already says how stupid they are.

No one is going to learn from this.

Otis Da HousKat's Style-Guide for Drama Forum Posting

Step 1.
Is your topic worth posting? (The answer is always no)

Step 2.
Know whether your topic belongs in drama or not. (Protip: this topic doesn't)

Step 3a.
Type out your post. Word it carefully and fill it with ample evidence backing up your claims.

Step 3b. -OPTIONAL-
Realize your incessant internet bitching accomplishes nothing and do the mature thing, delete your post draft and go spend your time on some productive endeavor.  (No one does this)

Step 4.
Ignore step 3a and write a poorly structured post composed of ad hominem insults and spectral evidence.

Step 5.
Call anyone who disagrees with you any combination of
  • Troll
  • Idiot
  • Homoloveual
  • Noob
  • Bandwagoner
  • Obese
  • Loser
  • Gay baby stuff
Step 6.
Cry and threaten to lock the topic.

Step 7.
Realize you can't edit or lock in Drama.

Step 8.
Back pedal furiously in a vain attempt to salvage any shred of dignity or reputation you may have had (none if you're at this step).

Step 9.
Get banned for:
  • Attention Whoring (Rule 5)
  • Shock image spam
  • Too cool for the internet
  • Being a massive jack-off that would do the world a favor by rolling over dead on the ground to give back the nutrients you stole from the grass

- Keep cool, and stay low.  Bursting into a hissy-fit rage will only make you look like an idiot

If you're going to write a wall of text, at least take the courtesy to format it so that it's readable.

Also Otis' post is the new OP.
