I don't get why people generally presume intelligent life from another planet is so advanced.

It most likely will not be so advanced that they can do all the things science fiction says.

Most likely only space travel and sustaining life in closed environments for long periods of time.

There certainly IS life elsewhere in this universe, but we can't even begin to know what to expect of it.

If we find a planet that has its own intelligent life and they, too, wonder if they are alone or not, it may not turn out all that well. (Testing on each other, hmm?)

All UFO sightings ever have been on certain lines of latitude, and on these same lines of latitude are some sort of ancient ruins.

If they are aliens i think they're peacefull.
If they where intent on killing us they'd hit us fast and with suprise instead of loving around over Jerusalem
They're probably just scouting us out to find out how we behave, how we talk, how advanced we are, if we believe in a god and stuff like that.
Oh and they dont want us to see their spaceships.
Hence the bright lights that obscure them.

The Jerusalem UFO was proven fake and the Norway one was supposedly a Norwegian military test missile or similar. Most of those look pretty convincing though.
