:( Iowa is very nice, thank you very much, and calling a game "overhyped" and using it in the same sentence as "wanking" sounds pretty negative to me.
First of all, games are overhyped all the time. Doesn't mean they aren't good. Second, the OP was fanwanking, it had nothing to do with the game.

Thirdly I was talking about the USS Iowa you cretin.

Ok fine, sorry if I'm not up to snuff on my naval.... wait a minute, this is the one that was sunk in pearl harbor... whatever.  Sure, call me a cretin for not picking out the qualifying word "the" and imediately linking it to a phrase that I have never heard before, and doesn't even make that much sense after WWII.  It is true that the OP was making a fan fiction straight from the game, but when it comes to portal, the stories are going to start similarly, it is the adventure you go on that is so dynamic.  Maybe we should give this a chance, then flame on it if the OP is just following the singleplayer campaign.

This is the only logical thing you've said in this entire thread.

You have a point but I still believe he should try to do something different. Like maybe a prelude of a scientist that worked at Aperture Science.

Kinda late there.  We already made the loop around the anti thread destination league and have arrived back more or less on topic, plus a few pages. :\
