But we didn't come to a conclusion.
Doing it this way is just easier for me.

Also, IcyGamma said he doesn't think I don't know what I'm doing, on the website.
Though seeing how the site functions exactly as I wanted and expected it to, seemingly lacking bugs or errors at the point, I don't see any basis for such a comment.

drendran, where's that topic where you had the link to your webserver program?

i think i have an outdated version

Seriously?

That it seems to work now doesn't mean that you're not in for a world of hurts.

Seriously?
Yeah, I just think I'm really good with c++.

Bugs will definitly arise as I update, or maybe if the site gets a large increase in usage volume.
But as for right now, I don't think Icy has anything to complain about.

Anything I posted before was probably terriable compaired to this.
I did make an old webserver a while ago that I tried to use, but when put into actual usage over the internet, I found out how bad it was, and made a new one with the SDL api instead of Winsock, and I multithreaded it.

When did I say anything about Icy?

Ah.

Any chance you'll be releasing it? :D

Seems kinda silly to try and write your own webserver. I mean, the novelty is fun but if you intend for people to actually use this...

I dunno. Apache seems like a safer bet.

Nice work anyways, I remember back when I was good at C++ before I started getting into web stuff. Good times.

ir has 1 profile views.

Next comes actual rating, then probably some work on bitmap image generation.
Or forum/comment-board improvement.

You might want to implement some sort of IP tracking for page views. Take a look at Allstarland's page if you wanna know what i mean...

aaand the site is invisible

either I crashed your thing

or you are doing something

if the answer is crashed, I'd suggest switching to apache right now :P

EDIT: And, on a completely different note, you don't by any chance have a minivan do you?

While the public log (which I plan on changing a lot about that soon) censores the first two octets, I can see everything.

Did you reset views or something? They were at like, 2 zillion.

Hey uh drendran.

You might want to fix the fact that repeatedly refreshing crashes your webserver...

lol
