i've been having a problum with hosting severs.i can't. someone i know seems to think i need a speacail key.is this true?

i forwarded my ports 5 times. my sever is always dead

you need to forward 10 ports....

You need to forward 28000-28030 on UDP (at least thats what I did).

what kind of router do you have?

the ports are the same on every router, the numbers don't change

I couldn't even fit 10 on mine, I only did like 6 and it works fine.

I've never needed to port forward, when I try to make a server for the first time, my computer asks me if it should allow the ports the game wants. I just click yes and there :P
