Is there a way to get a large explosion without events?

I want to have a mini nuke sized explosion (for private uses, I will NOT release it as an add-on).  I have tried using evented bricks, but it hits the limit of events.

Any way to do this? (yes, I am aware this may crash my game)

I suppose you could use the Mini Nuke. But I don't suggest it. Why can't you just use events?
