What is a good free anti spyware that doesn't slow down your computer?

P.S.
I had microsoft security essentials but it stopped working.

Norton Antivirus Software.

or Norton 360, maybe same thing, maybe costs money idk.

But you need to register your personal info and credit card number I have neither. And my mom doesn't believe in credit cards.

Avast was decent I guess. Malwarebytes is nice.

Norton is loving awful, I often find it clogging up 200+ MB RAM mom's computer.
