I believe your mom is upset because she took the time out of her day to put eggs in the yard. She had no idea you would think it's boring, how the hell would she know that unless you told her? If you knew she was going to do the eggs again this year (because it sounds like you always do eggs every year) just tell her the day before, and she won't have to do anything. Then she won't be pissed.
