Author Topic: Mom is mad at me because of easter  (Read 6406 times)

I am 11 and I had fun looking for easter eggs with my 8 year old nephew

I used to go egg hunting until I was like 10. It's not that difficult to tell your parents you've had enough of it, if you're a teen it's only natural for you to not go egg hunting anymore. You don't remain a child forever. Although you could've just done it one last time, then
I'm older than 10.

"It's not all about you" to me, seems like an ironic statement, if you say "It's not all about you", then you're making it seem it's all about you, so that statement annoys me

Still, you should've looked for those eggs and maybe your mother would have been in a better mood than she is currently since you gave up on looking for the remaining eggs

To answer a few questions, she already collected the eggs, she complains about every little thing, she says "it is not all about you" when it seems like she is making it all about her, and pretty much every Easter has been crap.
That's because it isn't. She probably gets a warm fuzzy feeling in her heart whenever she sees her daughter collecting eggs, and all you've done today is rip it out and eat in front of her without a car in the world.

my mom is hiding eggs right now because i asked her to.

this is going to happen in a few minutes.
That's aweosme, lol. Don't get punched in the face. Or tackled into the pool... I speak from experience :)

I would too.

And it is loving sad that I only live with my mom. No brothers, no sisters. My dad lives about 20 miles away.

Then spend some time with her.

Mind telling us how old exactly

Same here, but it's alright
